Software Engineer
Support and troubleshoot complex maritime software solutions, leveraging Python, Node.js, and cloud technologies to ensure high availability and performance for end‑users.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve production incidents for maritime software applications, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with development and 1st line teams to reproduce, analyze, and fix bugs in Python and Node.js codebases.
- Manage and maintain containerized services on Docker and Kubernetes clusters in AWS environments.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to proactively detect issues.
- Document troubleshooting steps, create knowledge base articles, and provide training to 1st line support staff.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Linux system administration and application support.
- Strong programming skills in Python and Node.js with a solid understanding of RESTful APIs.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, EKS, S3, CloudWatch) and container orchestration.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Familiarity with maritime or navigation software is a plus.
