About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues reported by clients, ensuring timely resolution or appropriate escalation.
- Provide remote and on‑site support for Windows Server and Linux systems, including configuration, patching, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with IT Managers, Customer Experience Managers, and Professional Services to deliver seamless service and project support.
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, solutions, and client interactions in the ticketing system.
- Communicate status updates clearly to clients via written reports and verbal briefings.
Requirements
- Proven experience troubleshooting Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and remote support tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer‑first mindset.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of issues, and manage multiple priorities.
- Valid UK work eligibility and willingness to travel within the East Midlands region.
