2nd Engineer for Platform Supply vessel - V.Group

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the vessel’s CAT engine plant, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Lead routine and emergency maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting mechanical issues and coordinating repairs.
• Implement and enforce marine safety and environmental regulations, conducting regular safety drills and inspections.
• Manage fuel, oil, and consumable inventories, preparing accurate logs and reports for the master and shore management.
• Collaborate with the deck and operations teams to support supply missions and vessel logistics.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of offshore experience on a supply vessel.
• Proven knowledge of CAT engine systems and marine propulsion maintenance.
• Strong understanding of marine safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities in a multicultural environment.
