About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain dbt models to transform raw data into analytical assets for financial reporting.
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to define data quality rules and enforce best practices.
- Implement automated testing, documentation, and version control for data models.
- Optimize SQL queries and dbt transformations for performance and scalability on AWS data warehouse platforms.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of data pipelines.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building data pipelines with dbt and SQL.
- Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services such as Redshift, S3, and Glue.
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional team.
