Mining Linkedin: Faceting Job Titles
August 1, 2014 – October 1, 2014
This project aims at clustering the LinkedIn data on the basis of the job titles of the connections/contacts. For example, a person is looking for a job and in his LinkedIn profile, he has a huge number of connections and he would like to know the connections he is interested in, which would be useful for him. So, he would like to have his connections grouped separately based on the job titles which would make the work easy for him. Such techniques can help him answering the following the types of queries: Which of my connections are the most similar based upon a criterion like a job title? Which of my connections are from same background?
