Co-founder & CPO, NA BD, Investments, Partnerships at Infilect
Fundamental to the sustainable human growth is this basic economic principle that humans need to optimally utilise natural resources in order to produce and consume, and help themselves survive, earn, and grow. My philosophy is to build products that solve fundamental and large-scale problems in order to optimise the use of natural resources, and directly but positively impact this cycle of production and consumption. I believe that software and AI hold the key to solve these problems with an efficiency and effectiveness that the world has never seen before. Currently I am the co-founder of a retail-focused AI enterprise (B2B) https://infilect.com operating out of Bangalore, India. Infilect is solving the problem of optimising of supply-chain for the worldwide retail industry, with its focus on retail visual intelligence. Infilect specifically helps retail brands and retailers solve out of stock, over stocking, product shrinkages, counterfeit products etc. Previously, I worked with IBM Research Labs, Bangalore in Smarter Wireless aka Telecom Infrastructure and Platforms Group on building innovative research technologies. Some of my contributions include (1) smarter pricing in cellular data networks, (2) renewable energy for cellular base stations (3) optimisation of call data records using machine learning. I finished my doctoral studies with specialization in low power wireless networks (Zigbee, WiFi, Bluetooth) to provide multimedia connectivity (audio, video) with applications in the emerging Internet of Things (IoT) fields. I am active in organizing and speaking at workshops, tutorials, research tracks, industry events, start-ups events in National and International Research events/conferences.

LO3 is a low cost and low power system designed to enable real-time voice communication over a multi-hop wireless network using IEEE 802.15.4 supported platforms. The primary application is to enable voice communication in rural areas.
Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's background is heavily skewed towards research, entrepreneurship, and deep learning/AI, with significant experience in academic and startup environments. While the target role is 'Backend Engineer', the most recent and extensive experience is in leadership (CPO/CTO) and AI strategy. This might indicate a potential mismatch if the target role is purely an individual contributor backend engineering position without significant architectural, research, or leadership components. The project 'LO3' and research at IBM and IIT Bombay show a strong inclination towards impactful, complex system development. The breadth of skills is high, but the direct alignment with typical backend engineering responsibilities (e.g., specific frameworks, microservices, cloud infrastructure) is not explicitly detailed in the provided experience descriptions.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's experience as a co-founder and CPO/CTO suggests strong leadership, strategic thinking, and product management skills. Organizing meetups indicates community engagement and knowledge sharing. The descriptions highlight problem-solving, innovation, and the ability to drive projects from conception to deployment. However, the provided data does not offer direct insights into stress handling or team collaboration beyond leadership roles.
