Umang likes to work where data stops being reports and starts making decisions. He's a Project Lead in Marketing Intelligence team and has a bias for building, not just analyzing. He has led system designs that take messy, real-world data and turn it into something a business can actually act on. Most of his work sits at the intersection of Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning, from predictive models to RAG pipelines to LLM-powered decision layers. Healthcare Life Sciences and BFSI are the domains where he has spent most of his time, solving problems that are ambiguous, regulated, and high-stakes. That means less textbook modeling, more real trade-offs, and outcomes that need to hold up outside a notebook. He is mostly concerned about three things: • Owning problems end-to-end • Making models survive production • Tying every output to a measurable business shift If it doesn’t move a metric or change a decision, it doesn’t count.
