Under Mine Helmet
September 1, 2022 – October 1, 2022
The mining industry is known worldwide for its highly risky and hazardous working environment. Mining workers are affected by many hazards. Probably there is no communication mechanism available like internet facility for the transfer of Hazardous data like Ceiling Fall, Gas Explosion, Mine Flooding, Irregular Human Vitals i.e., Heart Beat and Blood Oxygen Levels. Basically, there is a requirement of a smart device or clothing system for the solution that could resolve the problem of transferring these data to the control room with no internet facility. Develop an intelligent helmet and clothing system for mining industry applications. The system will provide real-time monitoring of hazardous events such as an increase in temperature and humidity, release of gasses like Methane and Carbon Monoxide, conscious and unconscious state of the miner, removal of the miner's helmet, and obstacle damage to the helmet.
Real-Time Communication Braille Glove and OCR mechanism
September 1, 2022 – May 1, 2023
It is very difficult for the visually impaired and deaf people to obtain basic and necessary information required for their living. Therefore, they are at a risk of being socially excluded due to poor access to information. Attempts have been made in improving the communication methods for visually impaired and deaf people. Methods have been developed which involve tactile sensation such as finger Braille, manual alphabets and several other electronic devices. But lack of privacy and lack of compatibility to computer environment are problems that remain unaddressed. This paper describes a low-cost Braille hand glove for blind and deaf people using slot sensors and vibration motors with the help of which they can read and write emails, text messages and read e-books. This Glove allows an individual to type characters based on different Braille combinations using six slot sensors. The vibration in six different positions of the glove which matches to the Braille code allows them to read characters.

Plumes Water Collection in Planet Eureka
August 1, 2022 – October 1, 2022
Whatever the source region of the plume material, will be modified during ejection. Depressurization of the material results in evaporation and sublimation of the water, which is coupled to heat loss and freezing. Loss of mass results in a higher concentration of non-volatile solutes in the frozen droplet. Plume activity on Europa likely ejects a mixture of H2O. Although returning samples of gaseous H2O would be beneficial from the perspective of understanding the history and sources of water on Europa collection of larger water samples would better sample the source chemistry The product could essentially be separated into two different operations. Operation of first part is collection of water sample. For this part we intend to use a micro pump attached with a conductivity sensor and a collection of small containers which could be fitted into the required dimensions. The idea is simple the micro pump along with a tube for water collection is allowed to hang from the rover and once in contact with the water in the narrow openings on the surface the conductivity sensors will receive signal water being a conductor and hence activate the micropump which will start collection of water into the containers. The second part consists of a group of sensors that would used to check quality of the collected sample. These would include: 1. Residual chlorine sensor 2. Total Organic Carbon sensor 3. Turbidity sensor 4. pH sensor 5. Oxygen reduction potential sensor. This entire setup is to be adjusted into a cuboidal structure which is to be fitted into the rover as given in the problem statement.

An App For Real Time Monitoring of Geological CO2 Storage Region
July 1, 2020 – August 1, 2020
Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) is the process of apprehending waste carbon dioxide (CO2) from large point sources such as fossil fuel power plants, and conveying it to a storage site and depositing it where it will not enter the atmosphere. The main purpose of storing CO2 is to inhibit the release of large quantities of CO2 (Greenhouse Gas) into the atmosphere. To prevent CO2 leakage from the storage region to monitoring the CO2 stored region is required. To reduce the amount of greenhouse gas emissions entering Earth's atmosphere, the real-time monitoring system is essentially needed. For this reason, the evolution of a real-time monitoring system is of great significance to geological CO2 storage and leakage warning. The effective application of monitoring technologies should ensure the safety of CCS concerning both human health and the environment and will contribute greatly to the advancement of relevant scientific approaches for monitoring and verification. The main aim of the project is to monitor the CO2 storage region using Arduino. CO2 sensor and temperature sensor are used to sense CO2 leakage and temperature of the surrounding in the storage section. After this, the person who monitors the CO2 storage region can get leakage warning news using GSM technology.
A Model Maximizing Profit for Taxi Drivers and Company
June 1, 2020 – August 1, 2021
Taxis in many nations hold a very significant role. It is also influencing the economics of the nation. In this paper we investigate how the drivers and Taxi Company can make a profit keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers. Initially we analyse situation of New York City. We chose New York as the road design is grid like allowing Manhattan distance calculation for evaluation of the path tracking. In our model we use the data given and consider the total fare of each grid. This method can determine which grid the drivers should go to find the highest gain. However this method might be inaccurate as the probability of picking-up passengers is not evaluated. Therefore, in the next part we build our main model to solve this problem. As we are not restricted in the given data this time, we also consider the searching time of each grid. In the first case we only want to maximize the gain of the drivers so the drivers should always head the location with the highest expected gain. However, in this case the drivers have to ignore some passengers even if they encounter so this may greatly lessen the satisfaction of the passengers. Hence, in the second case we also care about the taxi service. Here we use dynamic programming to design the best route to reach the hotspot so that the drivers can also make a rather high profit even they cannot get to the hotspot. At the end, we stand on the position as the taxi company. This time we want to maximize our total profit, which is equivalent to minimizing the total vacant time of the taxis. As we assume that the company and the drivers can communicate instantly, we only need to distribute the taxis according to the pick-up points in the past data. Keywords: Taxis, Dynamic Programming, Expected gain, Mathematical Model.
Shoelace volumes method
December 1, 2018 – July 1, 2019
Calculating the volume of regular and irregular solids is an important task in nearly all branches of science including Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, and Bioinformatics, and also in real world applications, such as calculating potential volume of reserve in mining, volume of dam design in valley, volume of mountain in Mars, or volume of tumor. We have been calculating volumes with different methods such as water displacement, convex polyhedron calculation, integration, and solving by parts however, all these methods have some limitations. Water displacement requires a lot of water for large objects. Moreover, it is required that the object is physical. Integration method works really fast for shapes with an easily integrable function that defines it, but most shapes are just random. Other volume measuring methods doesn’t work with every non-convex shape as some parts of the shape are calculated repeatedly. So, we need a new method that can calculate the volume of any polyhedron accurately. This idea takes inspiration from The Shoelace Formula (Surveyor's area formula) which is a formula in 2D. In this research the formula is modified to work in 3D. This research has been mathematically proven and tested with calculation of different kinds of shapes, using computer programming based on the Tetrahedral Shoelace Method, the method that this research developed. It can be concluded that this method can calculate volumes of any solids that are physical/abstract, convex/non-convex, simple/complex, revolutional/non-revolutional, and shapes without/with hole(s) quickly. This method can be applied as a complement for the current methods.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's profile shows a strong inclination towards innovation and social impact, as evidenced by projects like 'DermaSathi', 'CPR SENSEI', 'Real-Time Communication Braille Glove', and 'Under Mine Helmet'. This aligns well with a culture that values purpose-driven engineering and creative problem-solving. The breadth of experience across various industries (AI, finance, marketing, social work) and roles (developer, product manager, analyst, content writer) suggests a versatile individual who can adapt to different team dynamics and contribute beyond a narrow technical scope. However, the target role is 'Embedded Systems Engineer', and while there are relevant projects, a significant portion of their experience is in AI/ML, product management, and growth, which might indicate a broader interest rather than a deep, focused passion for embedded systems specifically. This could be a strength for cross-functional teams but might require alignment on core responsibilities for a specialized embedded role.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's extensive involvement in various clubs (Robotics, Electronics, Literary & Debating, Toastmasters) and roles like Co-Founder and Strategic Communication Manager for an NGO, along with Product Manager and Growth Intern positions, indicates strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills. The descriptions of projects like 'Real-Time Communication Braille Glove' and 'Under Mine Helmet' suggest a user-centric approach and an ability to translate complex technical ideas into practical solutions. The diverse internship experience, including product management and growth roles, suggests adaptability and a business-oriented mindset, which can be valuable in understanding project requirements and operational constraints in an engineering role.
