Tech Lead Full Stack at Yubo 💛 Driving developments to shape the future of social discovery
My name is Timothe, I currently work as a Lead backend developer for Yubo, a social discovery app. My role covers a wide range of responsibilities within the tech team, I now have a quite good knowledge of Yubo's codebase, allowing me to contribute to all kind of projects related to backend (and sometimes even outside of backend). As a lead, I also have additional responsibilities within the team, such as participating in product decisions, following and reviewing all backend developments, managing recruitments and onboarding new members. Beyond my current role, I’m above all a passionate individual when it comes to software engineering. I developed an interest in this world at a very young age: at just 13, I discovered web programming languages and created my first website. I found a true passion in this, and since then, I’ve worked on numerous projects, including websites, mobile apps, video games, and desktop apps. Even today, I continue to code in my free time—either on personal projects and on professional ones as a freelancer. I also occasionally contribute to open-source initiatives. This dedication has allowed me to gain significant experience in programming, as well as improved productivity and versatility. Regarding my academic background, I studied general engineering in Centrale Lyon, one of the best French engineering schools. This gave me, in addition to my software engineering expertise, some good knowledge in a variety of fields, including mathematics, electronics, and mechanics. In parallel I also completed a master’s program at Lyon 1 University, where I studied Machine Learning and Data Science. It allowed me to learn the fundamentals of the AI field that has always interested me as I'm convinced it's the future.

aQuery
January 1, 2016 – February 1, 2016

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate has a diverse project portfolio, including personal projects in game development and mobile applications, which demonstrates initiative and a broad interest in technology. Their professional experience spans various companies and roles, indicating adaptability. While the target role is 'Data Analyst', the candidate's experience is heavily skewed towards full-stack and backend development, with some exposure to Machine Learning during an internship. This suggests a potential mismatch with a pure Data Analyst role, though their AI background could be an asset if the role involves data science or machine learning aspects. The lack of explicit data analysis projects or skills (e.g., SQL, Python for data, BI tools) in their recent experience might indicate a gap for a direct cultural fit into a dedicated Data Analyst team.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's project descriptions and career progression suggest strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take on increasing responsibility. The transition from developer to Tech Lead roles indicates leadership potential and operational effectiveness. However, without specific psychometric test results, a detailed assessment of stress handling, work attitude, and team collaboration is not possible.
