VP of Engineering @ VikingCloud | Platform Strategy | DevOps Transformation | Product-Aligned Engineering Leadership
With more than 20 years of experience in computer and network security, I serve as Vice President of Engineering at VikingCloud, where I lead strategic engineering initiatives focused on building scalable, resilient platforms that support modern security and compliance solutions. My work centers on advancing DevOps transformation, adopting GitOps-driven operating models, and integrating AI-assisted engineering practices to improve delivery speed, reliability, and operational insight across the organization. I partner closely with Product Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, and Data Systems teams to align architecture with business priorities and enable coordinated delivery across multiple engineering groups. A key focus of my leadership is helping teams scale effectively while maintaining strong engineering standards and system reliability. Recently, our engineering efforts significantly increased event ingestion capacity across the platform, improving performance and positioning our systems to meet growing security and data-processing demands. I’m passionate about building high-performing engineering organizations, mentoring technical leaders, and delivering platform capabilities that support both customer outcomes and long-term business strategy.
