I am an Applied Science Manager at Amazon, where I lead a team of ML scientists and engineers in the Global Search Quality team. Our mission is to enhance the product search experience for millions of customers worldwide using advanced NLP and ML techniques. With over 15 years of experience in NLP, AI, ML, and software development, I have delivered impactful products and solutions across various domains. Before Amazon, I managed Zillow's Core NLP and Conversational AI team, launching a guided search experience and a chatbot guide for landlords. At Alexa AI, I led within the Ranking and Arbitration team, improving voice search and skill discovery for Alexa customers. I was also part of the team that built the first AWS ML service and also the first Amazon customer service chatbot and have filed multiple patents. I hold a Master's degree from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor's degree from IIT Madras. I have published several papers in top-tier conferences and journals and am fluent in English and Hindi. I enjoy learning about psychology and entrepreneurship.
