Software Engineer & Tech Lead | AI Systems & Backend Infrastructure | Intuit / QuickBooks
I build AI-native products and distributed systems that power experiences for millions of small businesses. Over the last 6+ years at Intuit, I've led the architecture behind some of QuickBooks' most impactful AI initiatives. Most recently, I architected the Get Things Done Center, QuickBooks' new AI-native homepage, delivering $2M+ in annualized revenue and a 45% latency improvement. Today, I help drive the architecture for QuickBooks' next generation of AI experiences. What I've shipped: → Persistent AI memory and context systems supporting millions of interactions with zero data loss → GraphQL orchestration platforms serving 20,000+ users and scaling toward full GA → AI-native automation systems driving 2× revenue impact, +20% ARPC, and +25% MAU growth → NLP and personalization systems across Mint and QuickBooks, resulting in a granted USPTO patent Outside of work, I build AI products. Most recently, I created Foreman, a local-first AI workspace that aggregates GitHub, Jira, Linear, and Slack into a single intelligence layer that prioritizes work, reviews code, and surfaces what matters most each day. I'm particularly interested in AI systems, product engineering, developer tools, distributed systems, and building software that compounds human productivity.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate has a long tenure at Intuit, progressing through various engineering roles, which suggests loyalty and adaptability within a large organization. The focus on AI/ML and backend systems aligns with innovative, data-driven cultures. However, the target role of 'Data Analyst' is a significant shift from their current 'Engineering Lead – Generative AI Systems' role. While they have experience with data processing and ML models, the core responsibilities of a Data Analyst (e.g., advanced statistical analysis, dashboarding, business intelligence tools, specific data visualization) are not explicitly detailed in their experience. This might indicate a potential mismatch in day-to-day responsibilities and expectations for a pure Data Analyst role, despite strong technical skills in related areas.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's resume highlights leadership roles (Engineering Lead, Tech Lead) and significant contributions to large-scale projects, indicating strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and project ownership. The descriptions suggest an ability to drive technical strategy and collaborate across multiple teams. While direct soft skill assessments are not available, the career progression and impact suggest strong operational fit for senior technical roles.
