Senior Java Developer with AI skills
I am a Senior Java Developer and Team Leader with over a decade of experience architecting high-performance backend systems, microservices, and big data pipelines for enterprise leaders like BNY Mellon and IBM. My expertise spans Java (8–21), Spring Boot, Kafka, and cloud-native environments (AWS/Kubernetes). Beyond technical execution, I excel at leading agile teams, streamlining CI/CD processes, and aligning engineering goals with product delivery. Recently, I took an intentional, self-directed period to manage family logistics while executing independent software initiatives. During this time, I fully integrated AI-assisted development ecosystems (Cursor, Claude, Trae) into my workflow to accelerate delivery cycles. To prove out these techniques, I independently built, optimized, and deployed a production-grade educational mobile application to the Google Play Store using Kotlin. Now, with my family settled, I am ready to step back into a full-time Senior or Lead backend engineering role where I can combine robust enterprise engineering standards with cutting-edge, AI-accelerated development practices.
