As the Data & AI leader for Microsoft Azure’s India and South Asia business , Swami leads a team of Sales and Technical (Architecture) Specialist to help customers in Enterprise , Digital Natives and Public Sector to adopt Azure’s marquee Data & AI offerings like Azure OpenAI , Azure AI Services , Azure Databricks , Microsoft Fabric , Azure AI Infrastructure, Azure SQL ,Azure Cosmos DB , SQL Server and among many others. As a senior leader Swami was responsible for AWS's Big Data Analytics and Machine Learning business in India & South Asia. Swami and his team at AWS worked with the country's most valuable Consumer Internet and SAAS Companies, Large Enterprises, Small & Medium Businesses and Start Ups to help them create value with data on the AWS cloud. Having led AWS's Private Equity practice and working closely with global and domestic Private Equity firms, Swami brings in a unique perspective for business value creation with analytics and machine learning. As the Head of Private Equity for India & South Asia , Swami was responsible for setting up AWS's Private Equity practice in India in late 2019. Swami worked closely with PE investors and their portfolio companies on value creation, digital modernization and innovation leveraging AWS. Swami has held Global and Regional P&L responsibilities for Cognizant's Data Science, AI & Analytics business. An innovator at heart, Swami also built - ModelEye - a Machine Learning model and data observability platform in 2014, when the concept was very new and a product ahead of its times. Swami was a part of the founding team that set up Equifax in India and was responsible for building the Data Platform and Product Portfolio for the consumer bureau and also launched India's first micro finance credit bureau.
