The World’s Most Secure Network. Delivered as-a-Service.
I like building things from the ground up—especially things that make complex problems feel simple. Back in 1998, I started a company that used AI to keep networks healthy by catching problems before they happened. Later, I built another one focused on securing networks in a more fundamental way. Both were driven by a simple belief: if the network breaks, everything breaks—and we can do better. Since then, I’ve worked across networking, security, and software—designing systems, writing code, scaling products, and helping take them from first customer to meaningful revenue. I’ve led teams, built partnerships, and learned a lot through a few hard-earned scars. Now at Nile, we’re trying to do something ambitious: rebuild the network from the ground up as a service, with performance and security guaranteed. I have 40+ patents, helped shape a few industry standards, and my early AI work ended up in some university courses. But at the end of the day, I’m just someone who enjoys solving hard problems with good people.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's career trajectory shows a strong inclination towards leadership, business strategy, and product roles rather than hands-on software engineering. While they have co-founded technical startups and held technical leader roles early in their career, the majority of their recent experience is in management and business development. This profile might indicate a cultural fit for strategic or leadership roles within a technical organization, but less so for a purely individual contributor software engineer role without further evidence of recent coding activity or technical depth.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate demonstrates strong leadership, strategic thinking, and business acumen through their extensive experience in senior management, business development, and co-founder roles. Their background suggests strong communication and negotiation skills, essential for partnerships and product leadership. However, the provided data does not offer direct insights into day-to-day operational fit or specific team collaboration styles in a pure software engineering context.
