KSRTC (Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation) Bus Depot Location Problem (Mtech 2nd Sem Project)
May 28, 2026 – Present
The objective of this project is to search for optimal locations for a bus depot based on criteria like : -Average Profit of a Bus Stop -Average Maintenance Cost of a Bus Stop Used Integer Linear Programing to solve this problem. The implementation language being used is JAVA and LEX.
KSRTC (Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation) Bus Routes Optimization (Mtech 3rd Sem Project)
May 28, 2026 – Present
The objective of this project is to optimize KSRTC bus routes to - -Increase the overall revenue generated. -Reduce the waiting time for customers We are trying to use local search heuristics like Hill climbing and Simulated Annealing to solve this problem. The implementation language being used is JAVA and LEX.
Web Application Testing Using Selenium Web Driver
October 1, 2013 – Present
We tested a web application for McAfee Software India Pvt. Ltd. using Selenium WebDriver. The testcases were written in C#.
English Grammar Checker using Machine Learning
August 1, 2013 – Present
The grammar checker has a dictionary of 2000 words. It uses C-SVM to classify sentences into two categories: grammatically correct and grammatically incorrect. Its accuracy is 84%. We used the libsvm tool for classification and java for pre-processing.
Exoplanet Detection Using Machine Learning (MTech 2nd Semester)
January 1, 2013 – Present
This project mainly focused in classifying kepler objects http://exoplanetarchive.ipac.caltech.edu/applications/ETSS/Kepler_index.html as exoplanet or not.Using Support Vector Machines we classify them as false positive or confirm.GPU computing is the heart of the project as it involves a large data bse of 40 GB we mainly used RPUSVM written in R and uses GPU to classify using SVM model.I have written code using R,python,JQuery,C,Java and shell scripts.
Single Source Distance Oracle For Planar Graphs Avoiding a Failure Node (Mtech 1st Sem Project)
August 1, 2012 – Present
The objective of this project was to implement an algorithm "Single Source Distance Oracle For Planar Graphs Avoiding a Failure Node " which was published in SODA 2012. The implementation language was C.
Compiler for C-Minus to MIPS (Btech Final Year Project)
May 1, 2012 – Present
The objective of the project was to design a compiler with C-Minus as the source language and MIPS as the target language. Wrote a lexical analyzer for C-minus , intermediate code generator and a MIPS2000-code generator. Developed a functional for C-Minus also wrote an interpreter for elementary C-minus expressions. The implementation languages used were C,LEX and YACC.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's project history shows a strong academic background in computer science and databases, with several projects involving machine learning, algorithms, and optimization. Their professional experience at Ridecell and bigbasket.com indicates adaptability and growth from a Software Engineer to a Director of Engineering. The diversity of projects (web testing, grammar checker, exoplanet detection, compiler design, optimization problems) suggests a broad intellectual curiosity and willingness to tackle varied technical challenges. However, the recent career trajectory is heavily skewed towards engineering management, which might not align perfectly with a hands-on Data Analyst role. The transition back to an individual contributor role like Data Analyst after being a Director of Engineering might indicate a mismatch in career aspirations or a significant change in focus.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's experience as a Director of Engineering and Senior Engineering Manager at Ridecell demonstrates strong leadership, team management, and strategic planning skills. Their descriptions highlight process improvement, project delivery, and customer-centric team building. These indicate a strong operational fit for roles requiring leadership and project ownership. However, the target role is 'Data Analyst', which is a significant shift from their recent management focus. While their project history shows analytical capabilities, their recent roles do not directly demonstrate hands-on data analysis in a production environment.
