Chief Commercial & Technology Officer
I’m a global commercial and technology executive with over 15 years’ experience leading and scaling consumer brands across sportswear, footwear, apparel and FMCG. Currently serving as Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Technology Officer at Vivobarefoot, I lead the global commercial organisation across ecommerce, retail, wholesale, distributors, marketplaces, marketing and technology, with responsibility for delivering £100m+ revenue plans across international markets. My career has focused on helping brands modernise, scale and unlock profitable growth through a combination of strong commercial leadership, digital transformation, operational excellence and customer-centric strategy. I’ve led complex omni-channel businesses across DTC, retail and wholesale, partnering with some of the world’s largest global accounts including Amazon, Zalando, JD Group, Footlocker, Decathlon, Frasers Group and Nordstrom. Alongside revenue growth, I’ve built and restructured teams, improved operating models, and led transformation programmes spanning ecommerce platforms, data infrastructure, AI enablement, forecasting, CRM, merchandising and performance marketing. A core strength of my leadership is translating technology, data and AI into practical commercial advantage. I believe the next generation of winning consumer brands will be built by leaders who can combine brand, product, customer insight, operational discipline and modern technology into a single coherent growth engine. Across both founder-led and global organisations, I’ve operated at board and executive level with full P&L ownership, helping businesses navigate scale, complexity, international expansion and change. I’m particularly passionate about the future of sports, health and regenerative consumer businesses, building brands that create long-term value commercially, culturally and environmentally.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's career trajectory shows a strong drive for leadership and commercial growth within the retail and e-commerce sectors. Their experience in launching new subsidiaries and driving significant digital transformation indicates an entrepreneurial spirit and comfort with change. However, the target role of 'Software Engineer' is a significant departure from their executive-level commercial and technology leadership roles, suggesting a potential mismatch in day-to-day responsibilities and technical depth required for a hands-on engineering position. While they have 'technology' in their recent titles, the descriptions focus on strategic oversight rather than direct software engineering contributions.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate demonstrates strong leadership, strategic planning, and team-building skills through their progression to C-level roles. Their experience in managing complex organizational transitions and integrating digital strategies across diverse brands suggests high operational adaptability and a results-oriented mindset. The focus on AI and data-led decision-making aligns with modern operational demands.
