LIMSY Project
December 1, 2013 – March 1, 2015
LIMSY investigates cell dynamics quantitatively and in real-time through a unique on-line monitoring approach using combined sensor technology and image analysis in a bioreactor system. Hence, global environmental information (e.g. O2 concentration, fluid flow, pH...) gathered by biosensors can support the local profiling of cells on more complex 2D+ or 3D constructs during specific in vitro cultivation experiments and/or during the investigation of cell- substrate interaction behavior.
EU BioBusiness Project
January 1, 2011 – November 1, 2013
The aim of this project is to train 11 Early Stage Researchers (SRs) in the disciplines of biology and technology in order to foster the development of high-tech products or services for livestock within industry.
Escomas Project
May 1, 2009 – December 1, 2010
Development of an information system for Edison Stoccaggio Gas S.p.A.
Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's background includes diverse academic institutions (KU Leuven, Politecnico di Milano, NTNU) and roles in both academia and industry (Atlas Copco, Engineering Ingegneria Informatica SPA). The projects listed (LIMSY, EU BioBusiness, Escomas) show a breadth of interests from biological systems to enterprise information systems. This diversity suggests adaptability and an ability to work in varied environments. However, the target role of 'Data Analyst' might be a slight step down from 'Team Leader Data Science', which could impact long-term cultural fit if growth opportunities are not clear. The lack of specific company culture alignment data limits a deeper assessment.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's experience as a 'Team Leader Data Science' suggests leadership and project coordination abilities. Roles as 'Research Assistant' and 'Early Stage Researcher' indicate strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. The descriptions of past roles and projects, while brief, suggest an ability to work on complex, interdisciplinary projects. However, without specific details on communication in team settings or conflict resolution, a full assessment of operational fit is limited.
