Tech Lead at GraphSight
Overall interested and passionate about AI and machine learning. I worked in speech/audio processing and computer vision. My master thesis was a comparative study of automatic speaker recognition, carried out at Ericsson Research in Stockholm, Sweden. As part of my double degree from EIT Digital Master School I also obtained a minor in business development. I love new innovative technologies and ideas that lead to improvements for society and to better services and products for consumers. After working in tech consultancy companies, developing PoC and R&D projects, I am now at IDSIA in Lugano, working as a research collaborator. My focus is on Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) applied to time series forecasting, I worked on many applied research projects in the energy sector, focusing on load forecasting and PV power generation forecasting. Amateur guitar and bass player, I've been playing music since I was 8 years old. Lately, I've been developing my classical guitar skills.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's diverse educational background across multiple European institutions (KTH, TU Delft, Politecnico di Milano, Università di Trento) and varied professional roles (research, consulting, startup CTO, technical lead) indicates adaptability and exposure to different work cultures. Their involvement in EIT Digital Alumni and a startup demonstrates initiative and a collaborative mindset. The focus on climate and energy sector projects aligns with socially conscious environments. However, the target role of 'Data Analyst' might be a step down from their 'Technical Lead' and 'Research Collaborator' roles, potentially indicating a mismatch in career progression expectations or a desire for a more focused analytical role.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's experience as a co-founder and technical lead suggests leadership potential and problem-solving skills. Their research collaboration role indicates an ability to work on complex, challenging data problems. The volunteering position shows community engagement and coordination skills. However, without specific psychometric test results, a detailed assessment of work attitude, stress handling, and team collaboration is not possible.
