This is the project in which functionalities of Android Smart phone is tested based on Country Specifications, Customization Document and software upgrade is tested on Android OS platform. Each application of Mobile phones is tested and end to end testing is done. Being the Senior QA, I have taken the responsibility of handling Quality Assurance activities including developing test plans, creating functional tests for new features according to use cases defined in product requirements, conducting performance, stress and regression tests. I actively participated in requirement analysis and design level discussions. Prepare test design covering all business, functional and performance use cases. Prepare Test Plan for the release comprising all the new test cases developed. Identify and design effective test cases. The test cases involved black box testing approach. Plan and estimate the efforts required for testing. Finding bugs in the product and reporting them in the Defect Tracking tool with Necessary details and logs. Enhancement of Regression library by studying the incoming field defects and adding Test cases. Reproduce the problem before the fix to find out all possible test scenarios. Execute the test suite and the relevant regression tests cased for the release to ensure Quality product. Handled the team effectively by coordinating with the teammates, assigning & tracking the project work allocation to achieve the target on specific timeline. Mentored new members and actively participated in customer forums by providing the requested information to the queries posted.
