I am a Research Scientist at Northeastern University and part of the Responsible AI team at the Institute for Experiential AI (EAI). My work centers on auditing AI systems—that is, evaluating them through the lens of fairness/bias, robustness, usability or other values that are required to deploy AI in a responsible fashion. I focus on how AI systems grant or restrict access to real-world opportunities, and how well they reflect diverse cultural values and norms. In addition to research, I advise industry partners on best practices for building AI systems that are fair, transparent, and accountable.
