Personalized content is selected and recommended to a user who supplies little active information. The recommendation is based on personalized analysis of his (her) implicit physiological reactions to the presentation of multimedia content, and his (her) patterns of interaction with the interface. In this research, we focus on the recommendation of music videos, based on the user’s physiological state. Data: Music Videos; professionally generated content. Use Scenario: I am sitting in the couch tired after a long day of work. Content should be recommended semi-automatically based on my measured physiological state and (affective) reactions to the multimedia that is being displayed.
Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's background includes both academic research (PhD, lecturing) and industry roles, indicating adaptability to different work environments. The 'spudTV' project, while personal, shows initiative and a passion for applying advanced concepts. The diverse roles from freelance web developer to Director of Software suggest a broad interest and ability to take on varied challenges. However, the project descriptions lack explicit mention of collaborative team efforts or open-source contributions, which could provide more insight into cultural fit in a team-oriented environment. The target role of Computer Vision aligns well with past experience.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's career progression from AI Engineer to Director of Software at AM-Flow suggests strong leadership, project management, and team collaboration skills. The role as an S2DS Lecturer also indicates an ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively. The long tenure at Shopitize Ltd. (6 years) and AM-Flow (currently 5+ years) demonstrates commitment and stability. The 'spudTV' project highlights an innovative and research-oriented mindset, which is valuable for complex problem-solving.
