Ethanol Production & Supply Management System
April 1, 2023 – May 31, 2025
The project involved testing the backend database systems supporting the Grain-Based Ethyl Alcohol (Ethanol) Distillery. The system manages critical data related to raw material procurement (grains), ethanol production, storage, quality parameters, dispatch to Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs), and regulatory compliance reporting under the Ethanol Blending Program. It supports end-to-end business processes including grain sourcing, ethanol production, quality assurance, storage, dispatch to OMCs, employee safety tracking, and environmental compliance.
ESG
April 1, 2019 – December 31, 2020
The Snowflake data zones outlined are based on ESG as the source system. Regardless of the source and the corresponding method of ingestion into Azure (the API methodology for ESG), the remaining data zones will serve a consistent function across all data sources. Data is pulled via REST API calls from ESG using ADF. ADF is an intermediate step to push the data from the source ESG to the snowflake internal stage using a private endpoint. Data will be moved to the raw table using the copy command at a specified time interval. copy will be wrapped in a snowflake stored procedure. Flattening the data from the variant source column will be done post-raw zone and loading the change data into the transient table (truncate& load) as a part of the curated process. Incremental data will move from structured to curated. Task hierarchy will be maintained. Auditing, exception handling & DQ checks will be implemented. Change data capture will be done for all attributes from curated to modelled. Streams to capture incremental load details. Data vault tables – permanent table (captures MVP and Non-MVP attributes) Virtualization - no physical data movement. Reduce dependency on data extracts. Business logic will be implemented and loaded into the Datamart view
