Comparative Analysis of Energy Emissions and Carbon Footprint In Vector RAG and Knowledge Graph -Based Retrieval Model
January 1, 2025 – June 1, 2026
Designed and implemented both Vector RAG and Knowledge Graph-based RAG systems for question-answering applications. Integrated the RAG models with an academic institution website to evaluate real-world chatbot behavior and response quality. Measured and compared energy consumption, carbon emissions, latency, and retrieval accuracy across both RAG architectures. Analyzed performance trade-offs between response quality and environmental impact to identify cost and energy-efficient AI deployment strategies. Demonstrated that Knowledge Graph-based RAG can reduce redundant retrieval and improve energy efficiency for structured domains. Research outcomes align with sustainable AI practices and efficient deployment of AI systems in production-like environments.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's academic background from an international institution (Asian Institute of Technology) and participation in international bootcamps suggest an openness to diverse environments. Their project work, particularly the 'Comparative Analysis of Energy Emissions and Carbon Footprint In Vector RAG and Knowledge Graph -Based Retrieval Model', indicates an interest in sustainable AI practices, which could align with a forward-thinking organizational culture. The variety of academic projects and assistant roles shows a willingness to learn and contribute in different capacities. However, the experience is heavily academic, and direct industry cultural fit for a senior role is yet to be fully demonstrated.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate demonstrates organizational and coordination skills through various assistant roles. Their experience in facilitating events and managing logistics suggests an ability to work in a team and handle operational tasks. The 'About Me' section indicates comfort in fast-paced environments and collaboration with diverse stakeholders, which is positive for operational fit. However, the primary experience is academic and assistant-level, so direct senior-level operational leadership experience is not evident.
