Crypto-Currency-Exchange
January 1, 2018 – April 1, 2018
Crypto Currency Exchange is a multi threaded application that provides a platform to buy/sell crypto currency and can handle over 1000 trading requests at a time. It also has investment management portfolio which uses trading algorithms to monitor the prices and to auto-schedule trades which maximizes ROI by automatically dividing the investment into multiple currencies based on factors like largest average % change over a month,% growth.
California Gross Income Analysis
August 1, 2016 – September 1, 2016
Technology Used: Python, Pandas library • Cleaned and removed the missing data using Panadas library in Python. • Generated reports on how California salary is distributed and explored if there is any evidence of pay discrimination based on gender in this dataset.
Document Information Retrieval System
April 1, 2016 – May 1, 2016
Technology Used: Python, MongoDB •Implemented information retrieval application in python which uses term frequency (TF) and inverse document frequency (IDF) to calculate cosine similarity values of input document and training set of documents stored in MongoDB. •Classified a given text document into different categories by using K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm based on cosine values.
Attendance Mark and Update System
November 1, 2015 – January 1, 2016
Technology Used: Android, Java, PHP, MySQL • Developed an Android application for Professors to automate the process of marking students’ attendance. • Implemented PHP scripts on server side to accept data sent by the android application and store the data in MySQL.
Loan Default Risk Management in Banking Using Data Mining Techniques
January 1, 2015 – March 1, 2015
Technology Used: Java, MySQL •Developed a supervised learning model using decision tree algorithm to derive credit behavior of individual borrowers with parameters like mortgage value, repayment, history of credit. •Predicted whether the potential borrower is loan defaulter using the developed model.
Algorithm to Monitor Suspicious Activity on Social Networking Sites using Data Mining Techniques
January 1, 2015 – May 1, 2015
•Proposed and implemented a supervised learning model to classify the comments on social networking sites into abusive and non-abusive using ID3 decision tree algorithm. •The results were analyzed in MATLAB and our proposed algorithm proved to be more efficient with accuracy of 86%.
Ranking of World Cities
December 1, 2013 – Present
A java desktop application to rank cities using parameters of cities like cleanliness, safety, weather, economy of city using customized algorithm. Each parameter of city is graded on the scale of A- D.This algorithm takes in these grades as input for all the parameters for each city. The ascii value of grades for all the parameters are added and this value will be the total value for each city and mean will be calculated by dividing the number of parameters .Now this mean value will be used to compare different cities for quality of living. In traditional approach we would compare each and every parameter of city to rank it but this approach will decrease the time complexity substantially.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate has a diverse project portfolio, including personal projects focused on data mining, machine learning, and system development. The experience at Microsoft and Amazon, coupled with a Master's degree, suggests an ambition for growth and a capacity to adapt to different organizational cultures. The target role of ML Engineer aligns well with the candidate's project history in data mining and predictive modeling. However, the lack of explicit team-based project descriptions or contributions makes it difficult to fully assess collaborative cultural fit.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's project descriptions indicate an ability to work on diverse technical challenges, from multi-threaded applications to data analysis and machine learning models. The experience at large tech companies suggests an understanding of professional development environments. However, without specific details on collaboration, problem-solving approaches, or communication styles within teams, a comprehensive assessment of soft skills and operational fit is limited.
