Enterprise Sales Leader | RM100M+ Closed | Engineer → Revenue Driver | Complex B2B | APAC & Middle East
Enterprise Sales Leader who has closed RM100M+ in high-value contracts with Fortune 500 companies and government agencies across APAC and the Middle East, including Petronas, TNB, and PDRM. What makes my approach different: I came up through Chemical Engineering and 3 years of engineering work including offshore oil & gas operations before moving into sales. That means I can walk into a room with CTOs, plant managers, and government directors and speak their language, then close the deal. Over 11+ years I've built a track record across five industries: Geospatial Intelligence & Drone-enabled spatial data platforms | industrial automation, AI/IoT platforms, transportation software, and enterprise SaaS. Each time, I entered with zero domain expertise and ramped to quota within the first year. That cross-industry adaptability, combined with deep consultative selling skills, is what I bring to complex, long-cycle enterprise deals. Key career highlights: 1. RM100M+ closed at Aerodyne Group over 3 years (2021–2024), growing from RM10M to RM46M annually through land-and-expand within Tier-1 accounts 2. Player-coach sales leadership: managed teams of 3–5 BDMs while personally closing anchor deals above RM10M 3. Ministerial-level stakeholder navigation across Malaysian and UAE government procurement 4. Built commercial and operational infrastructure from scratch for a pre-Series A drone startup in Dubai Currently exploring Senior Sales Leadership, Regional BD, or Enterprise Solution Sales roles across Malaysia, Singapore, and the broader APAC region, particularly where technical credibility and complex deal experience create an edge. Fiserv: Design of an Optimized Silk Screen Coating Process
August 1, 2013 – April 1, 2014
Consulted Fiserv who is the sponsor of the project that had difficulties in producing plastic cards (credit cards, ID cards, etc) with reducing the waste percentage as the final goal of the project. This project was a join project of Enterprise System Design (Fall semester) and Senior Design Capstone (Spring semester). For the Enterprise System Design class, the focus was on the business and technical dimensions, whereas for the Senior Design Capstone project, the focus was on creating solutions for Fiserv. Various analysis and testing were conducted to understand and determine the core problem of the process including chemical & physical analysis, process mapping, performance measurement, bench marking, solution development, change management, and safety & consistency control. Developed 3 stage implementation plan for Fiserv, equipped them with tools to iteratively improve their process internally, provided HAZOP & FMEA to maintain safety and consistency in their process, and conducted economic analysis for changes in system architecture that can improve process consistency. Awarded as the 2nd best project in Chemical Engineering Department

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's diverse project experience, including personal projects like 'KiraKripto' (blockchain) and 'MAGRide Project' (magnetic levitation car), indicates an innovative and proactive mindset. Their career progression through various industries (oil & gas, manufacturing, transportation, drone tech) and roles (engineering, sales, operations, business development) showcases adaptability and a broad skill set. However, the target role of 'E Commerce and Operations Intern' is a significant step down from their experience level, which could lead to a cultural mismatch if the role does not offer sufficient challenge or growth opportunities aligned with their senior background. The breadth of skills and experience suggests a candidate who can contribute across multiple functions, but the specific 'intern' designation raises concerns about alignment with a senior professional.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate demonstrates strong leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills through their extensive experience in sales, business development, and operations. Their ability to manage teams, navigate complex stakeholder environments, and develop comprehensive operational frameworks suggests a high operational fit. The project descriptions highlight problem-solving, analytical thinking, and a results-oriented approach. However, the target role of 'E Commerce and Operations Intern' is significantly misaligned with the candidate's 12 years of senior-level experience, suggesting a potential mismatch in expectations or a need for clarification on the role's actual scope.
