A heuristic approach to predict route failures using anomaly detection techniques
August 1, 2015 – Present
In the process of creating a working prototype that would predict route failures in computer networks using anomaly detection techniques based on collected data from routers.
Method of providing recommendations to visit websites based on recorded history and notifications.
January 1, 2014 – Present
Analysing a users search history, frequency of visit, notifications and feeds and most searched content coupled with presence of similar content in notifications along with a predefined list of interested-domains, a recommender system was developed to suggest users about articles or websites that might interest them. A web scrapper and a hierarchical classifier is also present to better analyse search history.
DNS Spoofing
December 1, 2013 – Present
In this project we developed a fake dns server which would take the input from user and pass it along to the actual dns server and reply to the user will be the reply of actual dns server but via mine which is the modified reply.
Cloud-based search engine
October 1, 2013 – Present
We developed a Web-log analyzer using hadoop framework which keeps track of user centric and web-site centric logging frequency and a web crawler. Spell check and correction feature were added to the engine.
Blocking the TOR network
June 1, 2013 – Present
Developed a simple way of blocking hosts on a private network to access the TOR network by incorporating an outbound access list on the firewall that denies any contact to the TOR relays that form the backbone of the TOR network. As TOR relays are dynamic so currently trying to add some packet inspection functionality to do the same. This will be augmented to the previous process.
Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's project portfolio shows a strong inclination towards research and development, with several personal projects exploring advanced topics like anomaly detection, recommender systems, and network security. Their professional experience spans various AI/ML roles, indicating adaptability and a continuous learning mindset. The transition from Software Engineer to AI/ML roles suggests a proactive approach to career development. The target role of 'Data Analyst' is a slight pivot from their core ML/AI background, but their analytical skills developed through ML projects could be transferable. The diversity of projects and roles suggests a candidate who can adapt to different technical challenges and team environments.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's project descriptions indicate an ability to work on diverse and complex problems, suggesting strong problem-solving skills. The experience as a Project Coordinator at Becoming I Foundation also points to organizational and leadership potential. However, without specific psychometric test results or interview data, a detailed assessment of soft skills and operational fit is limited.
