Managing Director, Head of Emerging Solutions - Enterprise Innovation
The most dangerous moment in any organization's history is when a technology shift is happening and leadership thinks they have more time than they do. I've lived that moment from the inside many times, across some of the world's most demanding organizations. I've been early to nearly every major technology platform shift of the modern computing era: early computer networking, global infrastructure, and the Internet in the 90s and 2000s in retail, media, legal and healthcare; social media and AR/VR at MoMA in 2007, software-defined networking and IP-based broadcasting at Disney in 2016, the first blockchain-based art auction and the inaugural Art & Tech Summit at Christie’s in 2018, Verizon's 5G Innovation Hub at Lake Nona in 2020, and more recently, Generative AI, Quantum Computing, and PQC since 2022 at KPMG. That hands-on record spans the CIO, CTO, CISO, CDO, and senior technology seats at iconic global brands including KPMG, Verizon, Christie's, Disney, Time Warner, MoMA, Viacom, Tiffany & Co., several VC-backed healthcare companies, and an international law firm. Each of those roles came during a period of significant technology transition and that career arc is not a coincidence, it’s a pattern. As Managing Director and Head of Emerging Solutions within KPMG's Enterprise Innovation group, I lead a team that identifies frontier technologies and converts them into deployable client services. I also serve as executive producer of the annual KPMG Tech & Innovation Symposium in Deer Valley and host of the KPMG Quantum Consortium, events that convene senior executives, founders, board directors, academics, and top VCs together to work out what's real and what's ready. That external ecosystem is structural, not incidental. I was an early advisor and investor at StabilityAI and ClubNFT, advisor at InfoSec Global, Edge Video, and many other startups in frontier

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's diverse experience across various industries (media, healthcare, finance, art, tech consulting) and roles (CIO, Managing Director, Advisor) indicates adaptability and a broad perspective. Their involvement with emerging technologies and innovation aligns with a forward-thinking, growth-oriented culture. However, the resume primarily highlights strategic and advisory roles rather than hands-on software engineering, which might require careful consideration for a direct 'Software Engineer' role.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate demonstrates strong leadership, strategic thinking, and innovation management skills. Their experience in building and leading teams, managing complex projects, and driving digital transformation initiatives suggests a high operational fit for senior management roles. The advisory roles indicate strong communication and collaboration capabilities, essential for cross-functional leadership.
