Co-Founder and CEO at Beagle Security | OWASP Project Lead | Commander (Hon.) at Kerala Police Cyberdome
I've spent most of my career breaking into applications for a living. Vulnerability research, exploit development, offensive security. The kind of work where you spend a week finding the one way in that nobody thought about. That experience is why I built Beagle Security. I kept watching companies run a pentest once a year, get a PDF, and call it done. Meanwhile their apps were shipping new code every week. The math never worked. Beagle Security runs agentic pentests on web apps and APIs from the outside in, the way an actual attacker would approach it. No source code access, no agents to install. Over 1800 companies use it today. • Core maintainer of the OWASP Web Security Testing Guide (WSTG) • OWASP Project Lead and Kerala Chapter Lead • Commander (Hon.) at Kerala Police Cyberdome • Built PenQ, the security testing browser bundle • Mozilla contributor I write about AppSec, API security, and why most security programs don't match how software actually gets built, here on LinkedIn and in my newsletter. Happy to talk about any of it. When I'm not working, I'm probably backpacking somewhere or trying to keep up with my kid. I collect knowledge the way some people collect sneakers. My brain will stop taking new inputs around HTTP 529, if that ever becomes a thing.

OWASP Secure Tea
November 1, 2018 – Present
The OWASP SecureTea Project is an application designed to help secure a person's laptop or computer/server with IoT (Internet Of Things) and notifies users (via various communication mechanisms), whenever someone accesses their computer/server. This application uses the touchpad/mouse/wireless mouse to determine activity and is developed in Python and tested on various machines (Linux, Mac & Windows). The software is still under development, and will eventually have its own IDS(Intrusion Detection System) / IPS(Intrusion Prevention System), firewall, anti-virus, intelligent log monitoring capabilities with web defacement detection, and support for much more communication medium.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's extensive involvement with OWASP, including leading projects and chapters, demonstrates a strong commitment to open-source security initiatives and community building. Their entrepreneurial ventures align with a culture that values innovation and taking ownership. The diversity of roles from security analyst to CEO, and author, suggests adaptability and a broad interest in the security domain. However, the lack of explicit team collaboration or stress handling data from psychometric tests makes a full assessment of cultural fit challenging.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's entrepreneurial background and leadership roles (CEO, Founder, Project Leader) suggest strong initiative, problem-solving, and strategic thinking. Their involvement with OWASP indicates a collaborative spirit and commitment to community standards. The descriptions of their projects and roles, while not explicitly detailing communication, imply an ability to articulate complex security concepts, especially given their authorship.
