Engineering Lead | Java • AWS • Distributed Systems | Cloud Infrastructure & Data Platforms | Startup Co-Founder | GenAI
I’m an Engineering Lead with 10+ years of experience building cloud-native backend systems — from initial architecture to production scale. At John Deere, I lead distributed, real-time data platforms in a global IoT environment, and as a startup co-founder, I’ve built products from zero to launch. I specialize in setting strong technical foundations for early-stage projects: scalable microservices, event-driven systems, AWS infrastructure, Terraform, CI/CD, and observability. Core stack: Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, AWS, Terraform, OpenSearch/ELK, Docker — currently expanding into Generative AI integration.

Web Search Engine
October 1, 2015 – Present
The purpose of this project was to develop a fully functional web search engine to understand underlying algorithms and complexities. • Implement an HTML Parser. • Design and Implement a Web Crawler. • Design the required database schema to store the contents of visited pages and the link structure.- • Write an SQL-based query processor to execute Google-style keyword queries. • Devise/Create index structures to accelerate the querying performance. • Implement alternate query processors using threshold algorithms. • Realize alternate methods to compute the score of how well a document matches the query. • For this, implement Google's Pagerank algorithm and integrate it in the scoring model. • Implement an HTML-based user interface and a Web service • Use the Web services of your fellow student to realize a meta search engine.
Team-Based Software Engineering (Extend John Deere MyJobs app)
October 1, 2015 – March 1, 2016
Developing a iOS application along with iWatch extension to support managers & employee to organize daily tasks and management. Real-time tracking of John Deere tractors and data-privacy were major concerns. Goal was to follow SDLC life-cycle in business environment with real use case. App developed was recognized as one of best innovative idea. Tasks: • Requirements gathering • Architecture • Detail Documentation
TrackRE - School
November 1, 2014 – December 1, 2015
Solely responsible for whole project requirements gathering, UI design, architecture, development & testing. Driver App: • Real-time collection of GPS & OBD-II data of vehicle • Sync data regularly with back-end • Calculate delay using sophisticated algorithm & continuously update backend for real-time delay • Scan student ID & alert parents about safe departure & arrival of student. • Authentication, encryption, privacy measures • Speed-limit violation notification • Record video & click images and upload it to back-end Parent App: • Real-time tracking of bus • Geo-fencing & receiving notification for delay, arrival, schedule change of bus • Google Cloud Messaging used for communication & updating setting • Real-time sync mechanism • Modern UI implemented using various Open source library • Extensive use of JSON & Gson for data exchange • Customize & animations with Google maps for responsive behavior • Involved in designing SQL schema for server-side & optimization. Libraries used: Robotium, Volley, Gson, Robojuice, Picasso, ButterKnife, Android-iconics
Implementing the Stochastic Scaling Element of Network Calculus
October 1, 2014 – March 1, 2015
The purpose of this project is to describe the workings of an end-to-end performance analyzer for networks with stochastic scaling elements based on stochastic network calculus. The network calculus, is a theory that focuses on performance guarantees by dealing with queuing systems. The SNC is one, that allows to analyze queuing systems in terms of probabilistic performance bounds. This tool was developed to demonstrate that the end-to-end delays grow linearly with the number of nodes.
IP Messenger & File Locking
February 1, 2012 – April 1, 2012
Android based Application which would allow user to communicate via text, voice, video messages using any wifi connection without prior setup for server. Can share files and folders and even encrypt files/folder for security purpose.
Duckworth Lewis Calculator & Live Socre Feeds
February 1, 2012 – March 1, 2012
An android based application which helps to predict cricket score or game result when there is interruption in match due to external reasons using Duckworth Lewis algorithm. This application also provides an live score for all the ongoing international cricket match all over globe.
Vehicular Traffic Control
May 1, 2011 – November 1, 2011
Developed two algorithms which are more effective over the present algorithm for control of vehicular traffic in India. The suggested algorithm are capable of reducing the time consumption of vehicle in system to reach from one place to other.
File Systems
October 1, 2010 – February 1, 2011
Design of various data structures such as inodes, blocks & functions such as read, write, open, close, to depict working of UNIX File System, using C++ in Linux environment. Dynamic assigning and removal of blocks for the file was implemented. All data was stored in external file to maintain consistency.
