Criminal Detection System Using Face Recognition
June 1, 2026 – June 1, 2026
Developed an intelligent system to identify criminals by comparing real-time camera feeds with a database of known offenders using deep learning-based face recognition. Used Python libraries such as face recognition, OpenCV, NumPy, and dlib to detect, encode, and match facial features. Enabled automatic alert generation when a match is found, enhancing security and reducing manual surveillance effort.
Research Project – Impact of Social Media on Mental Health
June 1, 2026 – June 1, 2026
Published in IEEE CCIS 2024. Conducted empirical analysis on the psychological effects of social media, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and digital well-being.
Interactive Text Cleaning Dashboard using Flask for Bilingual Corpus Processing
April 1, 2026 – June 1, 2026
Developed a Flask-based dashboard for cleaning and analyzing bilingual (English-Hindi) text data, featuring real-time stats and downloadable output. Integrated sequential text cleaning operations and implemented sentence-level similarity detection to identify near-duplicate or semantically similar pairs. Designed a two-panel interactive UI using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for streamlined operation control and result visualization.
Interactive Image-Based Signature Editing & Masking Tool using Python and OpenCV
April 1, 2026 – June 1, 2026
Developed a real-time signature editing tool with zoom, pan, polygon-based masking, and undo/redo functionality using OpenCV and Flask. Built a backend API to receive polygon coordinates and base64 images, apply precise masking, and return modified outputs for signature verification use cases. Implemented image preprocessing techniques (grayscale, thresholding, median filtering).

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate shows a diverse range of projects, from computer vision and NLP to web development and academic research, indicating adaptability and a broad interest in technical domains. The internship at CDAC and the publication in IEEE suggest a proactive approach to learning and contributing. However, the experience level is entry-level, and the target role is 'Data Science' which is broad. While the projects align with data science, the depth of experience in specific advanced data science methodologies (e.g., advanced statistical modeling, large-scale data engineering, MLOps) is limited, which might require significant ramp-up for a senior role.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's projects and internship descriptions suggest an ability to work on practical applications, integrate various technologies, and contribute to user experience enhancements. The research project indicates an aptitude for analytical thinking and structured investigation. However, without psychometric test results, a comprehensive assessment of logical reasoning, work attitude, stress handling, and team collaboration is not possible.
