Assessing your cultural and operational fit
I am a fresher data analyst with a solid foundation in SQL, Python, Power BI, and Tableau. I enjoy working with data end-to-end — from cleaning and querying to building dashboards and presenting findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders. I focus on making analysis genuinely useful, not just technically correct. I am currently building my portfolio through real-world projects and looking for an opportunity to contribute, learn, and grow alongside a strong team.

E-Commerce Sales Analytics Dashboard
May 1, 2024 – June 1, 2026
Built an end-to-end sales reporting dashboard tracking Revenue, Profit, Top Products, Regional Performance, and Customer Segments, with all data preparation done in SQL (CTES, Window Functions, Joins) before connecting to Power BI — keeping transformation logic fully visible and auditable. Identified underperforming regions, high-margin product categories, and customer segment trends through the dashboard, translating findings into three concrete business recommendations with a clear analytical narrative for stakeholders.
Customer Churn Prediction
May 1, 2024 – June 1, 2026
Built and tuned a logistic regression classification model achieving ~91% accuracy, using feature engineering and threshold optimisation to flag at-risk customers - framing all outputs in terms of revenue impact rather than model metrics alone. Identified contract type, tenure, and monthly charges as the top churn drivers and translated these into three actionable retention recommendations, demonstrating end-to-end ML ownership from data cleaning through to business interpretation.
Indian Startup Funding Analysis
May 1, 2024 – June 1, 2026
Cleaned and structured a startup funding dataset in SQL, then built a Power BI dashboard surfacing top-funded sectors, year-on-year funding trends, leading investors, and ecosystem hotspots - directly relevant for growth-stage company roles. Designed each dashboard visual to answer a specific business question, practising data storytelling end-to-end and deliberately choosing a less-saturated dataset to stand out from typical HR analytics or Titanic-style portfolios.
User Behaviour & Risk EDA Bank Credit & Loan Dataset
May 1, 2024 – June 1, 2026
Conducted exploratory data analysis on a structured loan dataset to segment users by risk profile, identify default risk factors, and generate insight-driven outputs supporting simulated loan approval and risk segmentation decisions. Visualised repayment behaviour patterns using Matplotlib and Seaborn, practising the full analytical workflow from raw data to business-ready insight - directly analogous to product usage analysis in a commercial setting.
Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's project diversity, including e-commerce, customer churn, startup funding, and user behavior analysis, indicates a broad interest in applying data analysis across different domains. The explicit mention of choosing 'less-saturated dataset to stand out' and focusing on 'genuinely useful' analysis suggests a proactive and results-oriented approach. However, the lack of professional experience and a non-traditional academic background (Chemistry) might require a team that values self-starters and provides mentorship for career transition.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate highlights soft skills such as cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder communication, and data storytelling, which are crucial for a Data Analyst. The project descriptions emphasize translating technical work into business value, indicating a practical and business-oriented mindset. The candidate's self-description as a 'fresher' actively building a portfolio suggests a strong desire to learn and contribute.
