GenAI Engineer @ HCLTech | Python | Prompt Engineering | LLM | RAG | Agentic AI | MCP
I am a GenAI Engineer at HCLTech, passionate about building scalable and impactful solutions. My work spans across creating intelligent chatbots and their practical use cases, as well as experimenting with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines to enhance AI-driven applications. I also explore prompt engineering to optimize interactions with large language models (LLMs), combining technical depth with practical application. My expertise in Python and applied AI systems allows me to design and implement solutions that leverage agentic AI architectures and MCP (Model Context Protocol), enabling autonomous and adaptive workflows. Beyond just writing code, I enjoy taking up projects that challenge me to learn new technologies, solve real-world problems, and continuously grow as a developer. Currently, I’m focused on strengthening my expertise in conversational AI, generative AI systems, MCP, and agentic AI — while working towards building products that make a meaningful difference.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate has a diverse background, including internships in cybersecurity and web development, followed by roles in IT infrastructure (SCCM/Azure AD) and then a direct transition to GenAI. This demonstrates adaptability and a willingness to learn new domains. The current GenAI Engineer role aligns directly with the target role, suggesting a strong interest and commitment to the field. However, the rapid transition from IT infrastructure to GenAI might indicate a lack of deep, long-term experience in a single domain, which could be a point for further exploration regarding cultural fit in a specialized AI team.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's experience descriptions suggest an ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage complex technical tasks, indicating good operational fit. The previous role as an SCCM and Azure AD Analyst also implies attention to detail and adherence to security policies, which are valuable for robust AI system deployment.
