Director @ Netflix (Cloud Infrastructure, GenAI, Data Platforms) | ex - Apple, Meta, Intel
Executive leader in GenAI Infrastructure and Cloud Platforms, with 23+ years of experience driving large-scale technical programs across Apple, Netflix, Meta, Intel, and Western Digital. At Netflix, I lead the strategic functions for Platform Infrastructure, delivering the “paved road” that enables every Netflix developer. My work spans GenAI platform adoption, Build-vs-Buy strategy, AWS/3rd-party integrations, and cost efficiency programs, while also modernizing our compute, storage, and networking platforms for long-term scale and reliability. Previously at Apple, I led a global TPM org of EPMs for Apple's native Cloud Infrastructure and also built the Apple Private Compute Cloud, Apple’s GenAI inference infrastructure that powers Apple Intelligence and uses Apple Silicon technologies. This program integrated Apple Silicon and GPUs into a scalable, privacy-preserving AI fleet, setting a new industry benchmark for inference and privacy. I hold an Executive MBA from UC Berkeley, Haas School of Business, where I focused on sustainable business, leadership, and innovation frameworks, building a global network of leaders across diverse backgrounds and industries. I’m passionate about building and scaling high-performing TPM organizations (grew teams up to 48 at Apple, 22 at Netflix), mentoring leaders, and driving transformative infrastructure programs that shape the future of AI and cloud.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate has a strong background in large, established tech companies known for rigorous engineering and product development. Their experience in leading diverse, global teams and driving strategic initiatives suggests adaptability and a collaborative mindset. However, the target role is 'Firmware Engineer', which is a significant departure from their extensive TPM/leadership experience. While they have an Electrical and Electronics Engineering background and early software engineering experience, their recent roles are heavily focused on program management and strategic leadership rather than hands-on firmware development. This creates a significant mismatch for a direct firmware engineering role, though their experience in driving firmware optimization (e.g., Chrome Firmware/Coreboot at Intel) shows some tangential relevance.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate demonstrates strong leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills, essential for senior TPM roles. Their experience in building and mentoring high-performing teams, establishing execution frameworks, and driving alignment with senior leadership indicates excellent operational fit for complex, large-scale initiatives. The focus on GenAI and cloud infrastructure aligns with modern tech operational demands.
