Developing test programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, negative testing, or usability. Developing, documenting, and maintaining functional test cases and other test artefacts like the test data, data validation, and ensure regression test packs are always maintained and up to date. Executing and evaluating manual (functional, integration, end to end, regression) test cases and report test results. Identify and find / create test data to support Manual test processes. Hold and facilitating test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members. Following change management and defect reporting processes. Producing testing documentation including results to assess quality. Utilize test tools e.g., TFS / Azure DevOps for defect management, test planning, etc. Assisting Business Analysts, Developers, Scrum Masters in ensuring defined requirements / user stories are verifiable and risks are identified. Reviewing and giving input to business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, test strategies, test cases, test results, release notes. Assisting in UAT phases: review plans, scripts, provide support during UAT. Assisting implementation phases: help the planning, the Operational Acceptance Test and give emergency support (if necessary) during the implementation. Participating in and/or feedback into Post Implementation Reviews as appropriate. Sharing knowledge of application, projects, and processes within QA function. To keep colleagues, leaders, managers regularly informed of the status of specific resolution activities. To provide Line Managers with status of work in progress and workload, and raise any issue as appropriate.
