Ebola Temporal Search Engine - Java
December 1, 2014 – Present
•Developed a Search Engine that constructs Forward and Backward Indexes on the manually collected data. •The search engine developed is used to retrieve the temporal information related to ebola, expressed in XML documents based on the temporal expressions . •Incorporated Indexing and Search Analysis using the Lucene Library. Implemented Link analysis and Page Rank algorithm to calculate the scores for each document. •Developed the GUI using Java Swings framework.
Barrel Race -Android App - Java
December 1, 2014 – Present
•Designed and developed the logic and UI for the Barrel Racing game . •This game is designed to let the user take advantage of the accelerometer present on the device to navigate and circle around the barrels without touching them to complete the race. •Analyzed the implementation of various position and motion sensors available in android.
Logic Games : Chess - Java, Connect- Python.
August 1, 2014 – Present
•Incorporated Alpha Beta Pruning to implement the game strategy. The chess game is designed to include three modes, starting with the beginner level and it supports both Human versus AI and Human versus Human. •And developed another game "Connect" in which the player has to stack 4 cubes of the same color consecutively either horizontally, vertically or diagonally to clear the cubes. The player loses the game when he reaches the container height.
Virtual Legos - A virtual reality application: C#, Unity, Autodesk Maya.
January 1, 2014 – Present
•Designed a responsive virtual 3D environment using Unity, where the models are designed in Maya , and the scene is put together using Unity for Oculus Rift. •The main goal of this project is to train the user to manipulate the virtual lego shapes to build towards a model lego. Implemented the selection and manipulation techniques using C#
Sentiment Analysis of Product and movie reviews : Python, Weka, Stanford NLP.
December 1, 2013 – Present
•Developed an application to analyze the polarity/sentiment of the cornell's movie review dataset . •The weights for each word per file, file per dataset are calculated and the classification is based on the polarity of the word in each review. Hidden Markov Model is used for Parts Of Speech tagging and Naive Bayes, Logistic Regression algorithms were implemented for classification.
Optical Character Recognition(OCR)
August 1, 2013 – December 1, 2013
The goal of the project is to recognize digits and characters using the concept of Image Processing . Various Machine Leaning algorithms like Knn(K-nearest neighbor), SVM(Support Vector Machine) etc were used for implementing the Image Processing technique. One of the important tools for this project was opencv. The project was programmed and Implemented using Python (Version 2.7).
Windows Application Development
December 1, 2012 – May 1, 2013
A semester long Industrial Internship project where I was part of a team that designed and developed E-learning Android and Windows store apps, which lets the user prepare for the highly competitive exams like CAT,GMAT,GRE.
Haptic Arm Manipulator
September 1, 2012 – Present
Designed and developed a haptic robotic arm(6-DOF). The idea was to replicate the actions that are performed by the remote which are connected to potentiometers and an Arduino Duemilanove is used to relay these actions to the haptic arm which is controlled by the servo motors which are programmed in arduino to replicate the actions.
