CTO & GCC Leader | Fintech · SaaS · AI in Production | $300M+ Revenue Platforms | Digital & Cloud Transformation
Most companies hire a CTO to build the platform. Then hire someone else to build the India org. Then watch both struggle because neither speaks the other's language. That gap is expensive. Misaligned offshore teams slow down engineering. A technically brilliant CTO who cannot build a GCC leaves capability on the table. Finding someone who can do both, at scale, at the same time, is rare. Over a 27-year career in engineering leadership spanning fintech, healthcare, and public sector, I have grown into that person. Most recently as CTO at Valor PayTech, I held both mandates simultaneously, scaling a fintech payments platform 10x while running the India engineering organisation end-to-end. Defect leakage dropped from 90% to 3%. Release cycles halved. AI went into production. The engagement ended with a successful PE transaction, the milestone the work was always pointed at. The new investors brought in their own leadership team, as PE transitions typically go. Before that, at Exela Technologies (9 years), I elevated a 350+ India Global Capability Centre (GCC) from a vendor-managed cost centre into a strategic capability hub through org scaling and operating model redesign underpinning $300M+ in enterprise revenue. At SourceHOV, I led 500+ across Healthcare, Finance, and Public Sector. At Azur, I built the India entity from zero to 100+ in months. Platforms that scale. India orgs that outlast the roadmap — built on talent strategy, enterprise architecture, and delivery discipline. Both, together. I am open to CTO, VP Engineering, Head of Engineering, India Site Leader, and GCC Head roles, especially where technology and India org leadership are part of the same brief. 📩 vspartha@outlook.com | Immediate joiner
