QAdept (http://qadept.com) helps companies to quickly get started with automated testing. The idea is to separate the main project code and integration tests code. So you have a new repository only with integration tests. To interact with the main project QAdept uses QaApi approach (http://qadept.com/docs/Functional-Testing/What-is-QaApi). The similar solution is being used by Badoo (https://badoo.com/) and Fotostrana (https://fotostrana.ru/) companies. QAdept imports the source code of tests to the cloud and you get a full control over your tests. Advantages of this solution: 1. Don't waste a time to configuration of testing environment inside company. 2. Manage automated tests in the cloud: - detailed test reports (video, screenshots, logs) - run tests in BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, TestingBot or using PhantomJS - create lists of browsers to run tests - integrations with GitHub, Bitbucket or using API - scheduled test runs - test documentation (you can create and link your test cases with test scripts) - parallel testing 3. QaApi approach (http://qadept.com/docs/Functional-Testing/What-is-QaApi): - testing of difficult test cases is much easier - API methods can be reused by testers for manual testing - testers don't need to know anything about the project source code 4. It's secure: if you work with remote testers, you don't need to share the project source code with them, only code of automated tests.
