CTO & Board Advisor | Applied AI PM & Coach, WealthTech & High‑Performance Teams in Regulated Markets. Trained over 3000 people in the use of Claude Code.
I build stuff: systems, software, teams, and even software teams. I fix stuff: poorly performing teams, software product strategies, devops processes, cybersecurity issues. I've been a hands-on coder but also have a solid 10 years of CTO executive experience, working with executives at global firms to enhance their corporate performance systems & people. Sometimes through great software, sometimes talking around tables, usually both. Perhaps you need someone with a proven track record to fix your software products or re-align a flagging team? Or just scale a great team? Perhaps you need someone providing deep insights into emerging technology paradigms that may impact your business? Perhaps you're not sure what you need, but just know it's tech-related and need guidance on the next step? Book a free consult call. Perhaps you don't need someone like me after all, but I probably know someone who could help. I am a fractional CTO and board member. I am part of the Tribe AI collective, a vetted talent pool working on and sharing expertise on AI projects. As a co-founder of CMH Clinic, I'm passionate about bringing telemedicine to the under-served regions of the Caribbean.

The CEO and leadership team at this global brand drinks company were often in conflict and this was degrading the morale of the company. I was hired by the CHRO to "sort them out". I devised a 1.5 day plan of exercises, leadership training and discovery workshops to realign the team to use each others' strengths, accommodate each others' weaknesses and galvanise the rest of the company as one team. It was so successful, they signed up for subsequent 1-to1 coaching sessions over the next 3 months, 2 specific sessions for troublesome teams, and a full company exercise day the following year. The team beat their annual targets and went from being one of the worst performers in the drinks conglomerate to the best performer.
Telehealth firm technology delivery assessment
January 1, 2023 – May 1, 2023
A 8x scaling-up UK-based telehealth firm requested a review of their tech delivery function to ensure it could scale at pace, without "the wheels falling off". I interviewed a number of senior leaders, key practitioners and patients, in order to assess if they i) were following best practices in software feature capture, estimation, release and quality ii) were using best-in-class tech iii) had the right skills with the right people (in-house vs outsourced). I presented my findings to the executive team, with recommendations. We had a robust discussion and several actions were rapidly implemented, with immediate improvements.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's diverse experience across various industries (finance, telecom, consulting, AI, healthcare, manufacturing) and international markets (Caribbean, Africa, UK) suggests a high adaptability and broad perspective, contributing positively to cultural fit. Their involvement in co-founding startups and consulting roles indicates an entrepreneurial spirit and a proactive approach to problem-solving. However, the direct technical experience in blockchain development appears to be primarily through recent certifications rather than extensive hands-on project work, which might require a cultural adjustment to a more deeply technical, hands-on development role if that is the primary expectation.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate demonstrates strong leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and team-building skills through their various CTO and consulting roles. Their experience in managing complex projects, leading acquisitions, and implementing agile methodologies suggests a high operational fit for roles requiring both technical depth and managerial acumen. The personal projects highlight an ability to diagnose and resolve organizational conflicts and assess technology delivery functions, indicating strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
