RetailQ - Real-Time Retail Price Intelligence Platform

Built an end-to-end real-time data pipeline that scrapes and tracks product prices across Amazon Egypt, Noon Egypt, and Jumia Egypt every 5 minutes, covering 5 product categories (laptops, mobiles, tablets, TVs, headphones). Designed a Medallion Architecture (Bronze → Silver → Gold): raw data lands in Amazon S3 as Parquet files, cleaned and deduplicated in Snowflake Silver layer, and modeled into a Star Schema (Gold) with 6 analytical views. Implemented a Kafka-based streaming pipeline with Spark Structured Streaming for real-time ingestion, and an Airflow DAG for automated 6-hour orchestration of the full ETL cycle. Developed ML-based anomaly detection for fake discounts and scraping errors, with automated HTML email alerts via Gmail SMTP for high-severity anomalies. Delivered an interactive Streamlit dashboard with live Kafka streaming view and historical Snowflake analytics, featuring cross-platform price comparison and trend visualization.
