Entrepreneur and CPA
I am building projects in the accounting automation space. I completed my ACCA in my early 20s whilst working full time at PWC, placing first nationally in one of the modules. It was at PWC where I saw firsthand how much of a firm's capacity gets absorbed by repetitive, low-value tasks, even at the highest levels. In parallel, I co-founded Malta Pub Crawl, which we sold around two years later. I then built my own property investment business, and that's where I experienced the accounting reality of running a small business: chasing documents, reconciling transactions, filing VAT returns, and constantly following up with the accountant. It's the norm, and it shouldn't be. Later, while leading enterprise digital projects at Meta Architects for clients including UBS, KPMG, Lazard, and the European Banking Association, I saw that scale doesn't solve this problem either.
