Principal Data Scientist in SAP AI Foundation Model Unit
I can't answer all personal messages due to the crazy volume, it would take me at least 1+ hours per week. But please be assured I read all of them - at least on a biweekly basis - and if I'm interested I'll reply. Everything I contribute to LinkedIn is reflecting my personal opinion and not related to my employer SAP. Interested in all things related to machine learning and software engineering, especially distributed systems and deep learning with a focus on natural language processing, document image understanding and computer vision. Nowadays working mostly with LLMs, i.e. fine-tuning them on large XLA/GPU clusters for task-specific purposes, but also knowledgeable about the whole science & engineering around the whole topic. Besides that I always aim for supervising thesis students in research topics to keep up to date and maybe get a few publications out of it :)
