AI Engineer, Architect, Strategy & Enterprise Builder | I ship the engineering discipline that makes AI products last | Co-Founder/CTO, SAFe SPCT
I'm an AI engineer, coach, and enterprise builder. I ship AI products and organizations end-to-end and run the engineering discipline that makes them last in production — not just demo well. My current practice is hands-on. I work in VS Code with Claude, Codex, Copilot, and an orchestrated agent stack and workflow to architect, build, and harden AI-native products. I treat AI-generated code the same way I treated my own when I was an award-winning software architect 20 years ago: with the discipline of tests, contracts, security review, and maintainability standards that hold up six months after the demo. Where I'm different from most AI builders: I've spent the last decade leading enterprise transformations inside complex regulated environments — NASA, FAA, VA, Emerson, and others — as a SAFe SPCT and Co-Founder/CTO at Agile Rising. I know how to ship inside compliance constraints, organizational politics, and legacy system gravity. Most AI engineers can't operate in those environments. Most enterprise transformation leaders can't actually build the AI. Where my focus is now: --AI-native product suites that augment enterprise delivery --Agentic workflows for software engineering, code review, and maintainability --Open-source tooling, including a deterministic AI remediation agent for repository hygiene Reach me via LinkedIn or my website. I work hard, but I don't lose the plot.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's extensive experience in driving Lean-Agile transformations, particularly within government and large enterprises, indicates a strong cultural fit for organizations embracing agile at scale. Their roles as a co-founder, business developer, and thought leader suggest an entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive approach to organizational improvement. The diversity of projects, from federal contracts to open-source development and real estate, shows adaptability and a broad interest in different business contexts. However, the target role 'Contributor' might imply a more hands-on technical contribution, which is not explicitly highlighted in recent experience, potentially leading to a mismatch if the role is purely technical.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate demonstrates strong leadership, coaching, and change management skills, essential for driving organizational agility. Their experience in building and scaling delivery capabilities, managing large teams, and fostering continuous improvement aligns well with operational leadership roles. The emphasis on data-driven pragmatism and simplifying complex systems suggests a practical and effective approach to problem-solving. However, the resume lacks specific examples of direct software engineering contributions in recent years, which might be a gap for a 'Contributor' role that typically implies hands-on technical work.
