Researcher Scientist at valeo.ai
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at Sorbonne University (ISIR) working on robustness and uncertainty estimation in vision-language models (VLMs). My current work focuses on training multimodal uncertainty quantification models that can generalize to unseen downstream datasets and support reliable zero-shot failure prediction. Before that, I completed my PhD in machine learning at CNAM Paris under the supervision of Nicolas Thome, where I worked on efficient adaptation and robustness of VLMs.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's background is heavily skewed towards research and advanced academic roles (PhD, Postdoctoral Researcher, Research Scientist). While there is a period as a Machine Learning Consultant, the overall profile indicates a strong preference and aptitude for R&D. The target role of 'Data Analyst' might not fully leverage the candidate's deep expertise in advanced AI/ML research and development. The candidate's experience is highly specialized, which might limit adaptability to broader data analysis tasks that do not involve advanced machine learning or deep learning. The lack of explicit project details beyond academic papers and high-level descriptions for consulting roles makes it difficult to assess collaboration style or fit within a typical corporate data analyst team.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's extensive research and consulting experience suggests strong problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and the capacity to work on complex, multi-domain projects. The publication record indicates strong written communication skills for technical audiences. However, specific soft skills like teamwork, leadership, or project management are not explicitly detailed in the provided descriptions.
