This project implements a deep learning model for facial emotion detection using the FER2013 dataset, which contains 35,887 images labeled with seven emotions: Anger, Disgust, Fear, Happiness, Sadness, Surprise, and Neutral. The model aims to classify these emotions from facial expressions. Additionally, the Wider Face dataset, with over 32,000 images for face detection, is used to preprocess and detect faces before emotion recognition. The goal is to build an accurate, real-time emotion detection system based on facial images.
