Lysanne Sloff

Since May 2020 I have been working as a Senior Artificial Intelligence Engineer at Trifork, located in Eindhoven. Within this company I have been fortunate enough to be part of different software application projects which allowed me to adopt different kinds of roles, such as data scientist/engineer, AI algorithm designer, and programmer. During this time I have embraced several new skills, such as becoming acquainted with Unity and Azure, as well as learning more about creating computationally optimized machine learning models which should be deployed to an edge device. I also like to explore capabilities beyond my AI and programming skills, both technical and soft, in order to continuously develop myself into an allround and multidisciplinary project team player. Previously I have worked for almost 4 years as a technical software consultant at Alten Technology and 2 years as Artifical Intelligence Scientist at TKH Innovations. During these years I have participated in several data science/ machine learning and algorithmic optimization projects, for companies such as Vanderlande Industries, TKH Security and VMI. I have obtained both my Master's and Bachelor's in Artificial Intelligence at the Radboud University Nijmegen. In the Master program I have followed the Cognitive AI trajectory, with specific focus on machine learning, data science and human technology interaction. For my graduation I have completed a research internship and thesis at Philips Research, on the topic of automatic psychological profiling based on natural language use. I am interested in a wide area of AI topics, specifically machine learning, and other optimization algorithms, computer vision, mathematics and human-machine interaction. After my graduation I have travelled through the beautiful country of New Zealand for 2,5 months.
