Forecasting Indonesia Consumer Price Index Using Fuzzy Time Series and Particle Swarm Optimization

Developed forecasting models using Chen Fuzzy Time Series (FTS) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) on 60 monthly Consumer Price Index observations (2019-2023). Performed data preprocessing, fuzzification, FLR/FLRG construction, interval optimization, and forecasting model evaluation using Python. Compared forecasting performance between FTS and FTS-PSO using RMSE and MAPE evaluation metrics. Generated 12-month ahead forecasts to analyze future CPI trends and model performance.
