Computer Vision and AI researcher / engineer, ex Meta
I am a Computer Vision / AI researcher, with a passion for software engineering and Making Things Work™. I worked as a senior research scientist at Meta (Reality Labs) and Mapillary, focusing on 3D reconstruction and understanding. I completed my PhD in Computer Vision at University of Perugia / Fondazione Bruno Kessler, and held a post-doctoral research position at IRI-UPC, Barcelona. Fun fact: I'm one of few people in the world to have a finite Erdõs-Bacon number, which in my case is 7 = 4 (Erdõs) + 3 (Bacon).
