Client: Various Challenge: #Google Pay Per Click (#PPC) clients needed better insight into their PPC spend results in order to decide how much to spend. Solution: After careful analysis, determined a key question that was actually being asked was how much should we invest in Google PPC rather than what’s our #ROI. In short, clients wanted to know not just whether they were getting a positive ROI but how much more they should invest in Google PPC before the returns were negative or unattractive. Result: Combining Google #Analytics data with #Hubspot Analytics, developed a Google #Adspend Advisor calculator which will tell you, based on your target revenue and various conversion rates, the maximum amount you should invest in your PPC campaigns. Benefits: Helps set an upper bound on the spend that makes sense from an ROI perspective.
Development►SAP REFX Scoping Tool

Challenge: Many SAP Flexible Real Estate (REFX) projects do not really have a fully defined scope, even after extensive pre-sales efforts. Needed a way to capture the expertise of a SAP REFX Solution Expert inside an online tool. Solution: Developed an online SAP REFX Solution Scoping tool which requires answering a limited set of questions. Using the Hubspot Inbound Marketing platform's Smart List and Workflow capabilities, designed, developed and deployed an interactive scoping tool. Results: The tool has already been used by a large number of clients to set the scope of numerous projects. In essence, it takes an extremely complex subject that typically had a variable output and created a consistent output product. Lessons Learned: The model we used to develop this tool led to the development of a template approach we can now use on a variety of other projects.
Development►Required Rate to Take the Job Calculator

Client: SAP BW Consulting, Inc. (This was an Internal Project) Challenge: Both end clients and potential recruits needed better information regarding consulting rates. Due to the vast number of incoming recruiter calls, all essentially focused on just one metric “what is your rate”, we recognized the need to reduce the market opacity which leads to asymmetrical information between the client and the consultant. Solution: We designed, developed, tested and deployed an online, interactive salary calculator that tells you how much you must make in order for the job to make sense and for you to determine whether you will make enough money to take the job. There were already lots of calculators out there that tell you how much you will have left over after taxes are deducted. We wanted a way to use the decades of travel expense information we had available from locations all around the world to develop a generic decision support calculator. Result: Already widely used within the consulting industry, we are seeing a steady increase in the salaries people are asking for. As it is not actually specific to the SAP industry (by design), we are seeing usage by a wide audience.
