After many years in software engineering and ML/NLP research, I've turned my attention to the study and teaching of traditional Tai Chi. I've practiced Yang-style Tai Chi in the Cheng Man Ch'ing lineage since 2018 and currently apprenticing at the New York School of T'ai Chi Chuan. I welcome reconnections with former colleagues and conversations with others exploring a similar path.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate has a diverse background, transitioning from structural engineering to computer science, and then to a blend of software engineering, machine learning, and instruction. While their recent instructor role aligns with the target, the overall career trajectory shows a broad range of interests. The lack of detailed project descriptions makes it difficult to fully assess cultural fit beyond the direct alignment with the instructor role.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's experience as an Instructor and Board Member at the New York School of T'ai Chi Chuan suggests strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills, which are crucial for an instructor role. Their long tenure at Bloomberg LP indicates stability and adaptability within a corporate environment.
